Modern Audio Visual Lab

Satyam School of Journalism and Mass Communication proudly boasts of a state-of-the-art Audio Visual Editing Lab, offering expert-level training in audio and video storytelling. The lab is stocked with industry standard software such as Final Cut Pro, Nuendo, and Sony Sound Forge. The lab equips students with expertise in mastering non-linear editing, visual effects, and application of sound, giving them the edge they need to compete in the media arena. Students are able to edit and create professional-level content, add advanced visual effects, mix and master audio tracks, and work on actual-world projects, all in a simulated actual-world production setting that encourages hands-on learning and portfolio development, ultimately enabling them to thrive in the constantly changing media world.

Internet Radio

Satyam School of Journalism and Mass Communication has the privilege to host Radio VOG, "The Voice of Girls," an innovative Internet Radio facility that makes students producers as well as broadcast their own programs. By taking advantage of this state-of-the-art facility, students are introduced to radio production, podcasting, and broadcasting hands- on and learn to communicate their creativity, talent, and ideas to people all over the world. Through offering this singular possibility, the college cultivates a culture of innovation, self-expression, and media literacy, setting students up for successful careers within the ever-developing media industry.

Cameras

The Department of Mass Media has acquired the latest digital cameras both for Studio Production and Outdoor Recording. The Digital Cameras are also used for Still Photography and practical training in camera aesthetics & operations.

School of Journalism and Mass Communication's Library is an active knowledge centre with state-of-the-art amenities that serve a wide range of needs of users. In addition to maintaining an impressive offline store of books, journals, and other materials, the library is also well connected online to huge collections of world academic databases, e-books, and journals. Canteen

The college canteen serves hygienic and good quality food with a wide variety of availability of snacks at a reasonable price and also has a capacity of 50 students at one point of time.

Transportation

SJMC campus is well connected to the public transport services. More over the institute also provides transport amenities to students residing in the areas of NCR to remove the hurdle of distance. Different routes have been identified for easy access of the cab services to the students.
