This is very significant to note that as per B. A. (Mass Media) Curriculum, it’s an essential requirement for the students of Journalism & Mass Communication to have a regular interaction and participation in the different Channels of Electronic Media (Radio and Television), Web Media, Print Media Houses, Advertising, Public Relations, Corporate Communication and Event Management Agencies for having personal observation and getting familiarity with the working system of the respective media house.
To fulfill this objective, the School of Journalism & Mass Communication, Noida has been organizing BMM students’ visits to prominent media channels, media houses and media agencies like Aaj Tak, News Nation, Zee News, Lok Sabha TV, All India Radio, India Today, Hindustan Hindi Daily, Dainik Jagran Hindi Daily, Amar Ujala Hindi Daily, National Khabar, News 24 etc.
Our students have regularly been participating in various question answer sessions of Live TV Debates, Interactive Sessions, Media Conclaves, Star Casts, Media Campaigns, Advertising and PR Exercises, Awareness Campaigns and Drives, Important Event Celebrations. With these participations, our students have been getting opportunities to personally observe experience and learn about the various stages of the working systems of different types of media houses.
They have become acquainted of a number of Top TV Anchors, Reporters, Correspondents, Producers, Debate Show Hosts, Radio Jockeys and Presenters, Senior Journalists, Researchers, Copywriters, PR Executives, EMCEEs, Event Managers, Multimedia Journalists, Content Writers and Producers. Through strong Industry Interface, we have been able to imbibe inner confidence, motivation, courage and zeal in our students to transform themselves into a hardcore media and communication professional.
